FEELGOOD HOTEL:

The large supermarket and shopping mall "Kaufland" offers everyday necessities in a large selection. It is just 400m from the main building of the hotel. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 7:00 to 22:00
To get there, leave the hotel to the right into Kranichweg and turn right at the traffic light at the intersection Eppelheimer Straße. Follow the tram line until you find "Kaufland" on the left side of the street.

GUESTHOUSE:
Only 80m away from our guesthouse is the large supermarket "Netto" (at the end of Kranichweg), which also offers a large range of goods. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday until 20.00

The best area for shopping is Heidelberg's old town and there especially the Main Street ("Hauptstraße"). Most stores are open Mon.-Sat. 09.00 to 20.00. Normal shops are closed on Sundays. Shops which offer goods for tourists can open on Sundays as well.

Shopping in Heidelberg is a real pleasure: the traffic-free main street in the historic Old City stretching for almost a mile from Bismarckplatz to Marktplatz is one of the most attractive pedestrian zones in Europe and a magnet for Heidelberg shopping fans. As well as visiting well-known branded stores you can browse in countless small boutiques or, in the summer, enjoy the Mediterranean flair of one of the outdoor cafés and restaurants.

The nearby districts of Neuenheim and Bergheim and the side-streets in the Old Town also have many unusual shops that contribute to the particular atmosphere of Heidelberg. And for a very special shopping experience you should visit the Heumarkt and nearby Untere Straße, where you will find independent shops with an emphasis on personal customer service. And if you need a break, you can call in at one of the trendy cafés in Untere Straße.

In Plöck, which runs parallel to the main street in the Old Town, there are many family-run boutiques and traditional shops specializing in handicrafts, accessories and writing materials.

Sofienstraße, which runs between the main street and Bismarckplatz, is well known for its exclusive, upmarket boutiques. Here you will find menswear, furniture and interior decorations to meet the most sophisticated tastes.
